Minnesota State Lottery: Not Your Father

Tom Routson of bicoastal Tool of North America brings on the funny as he takes the reins on a comical soap opera-esque campaign via Colle+McVoy for Minnesota State Lottery Scratch Games. The campaign features six, 30-second spots and covers every facet of the overly dramatic genre; including amnesia, impossible plot lines, paternal ambiguity, and, of course, melodramatic performances.

In Astronaut a man dressed in an orange jumpsuit returns to his love after having survived a collision with the moon while on a mission in space.

Two men, at opposite ends of the totem pole, vie for the approval of a recently recovered, amnesiac older woman in Stare Down.

In Zander, a blushing bride is stunned at news from her father that her new husband is in fact her clone.

Not Your Father opens in a Food Wagon mini-mart where a man is soothed by a scratch game after a paternity test denies him of the father he’s always known.
